 We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager with a strong background in financial and government accounting to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of financial management principles, accounting standards, and government regulations. This role requires exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.


Responsibilities …

• Preparation of monthly/quarterly financial and management reporting

• Preparation of annual accounts for audit and annual statutory reporting, in collaboration with External Auditor and the Accountability State Authority (ASA) الجهاز المركزي للمحاسبات.

• Management and ultimate responsibility for the Finance ERP

• Supervision and performance management of the Payroll Coordinator and Accountant

• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions

• Complete tax returns and other statutory compliance requirements
• Provide financial and analytical support to the Company Leadership and the Audit Committee

• Guide and coach department staff to enhance financial literacy, including guidance with compiling program budgets and forecasting

• Develop, implement and monitor appropriate financial systems, procedures and internal controls to support the efficient and effective operation of the Finance function

• Oversee the recruitment, supervision and direction of program volunteers

• Support the Director of Finance in working with the Directors& CEO around budgets, spending, reporting and financial accountability Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.

• Negotiate and manage banking facilities, including loans, credit lines, and investment accounts.

• Develop strong and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effectiveness of communications and resolution of issues

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in financial management or accounting.

• Strong understanding of corporate financial planning, risk management and investment strategies.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, financial regulations and tax regulations.

• Analytical skills to interpret large volumes of data, spot deviations and assess risks in economic forecasts.

• Experience with financial management and ERP software and other professional software and applications.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Preferred skills and qualifications
• Professional certification, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar.
