Description The most important responsibility of a preventive maintenance engineer is to take care of the preventives, make sure that preventives are in usable condition always. — The Maintenance Engineer provides technical guidance for maintenance and reliability data by evaluating the SAP data history for accuracy, and ensuring compliance with the best reliability practices. — The Maintenance Engineer must identify reliability data collection processes in order to sustain consistency — Maintenance Engineers have the responsibility to identify opportunities for reliability enhancement. In addition, the Maintenance Engineer must develop reliability strategies to monitor equipment performance. — He or she must link the plants high-level performance picture to maintenance and equipment performance — The Maintenance Engineer also promotes and upholds the integration of maintenance and reliability program.
Qualifications A Maintenance Engineer has a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electric engineer or Mechatronis Engineer . In addition, a Maintenance Engineer must have two or more years of experience in the maintenance engineering field or equivalent. Experienced Maintenance Engineers have strong interpersonal skills, which are a necessity in this position. In addition, Maintenance Engineers have strong command and leadership skills as well as a firm understanding of planning maintenance activities.
