Description 1. Design test plans, scenarios, or procedures in accordance with project scope or delivery dates. 2. Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability. 3. Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers with sufficient details to reproduce the bugs. 4. Document test procedures to ensure reliability and compliance with standards. 5. Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes. 6. Evaluate or recommend software for testing or bug tracking. 7. Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.
Qualifications 1. A Bachelor degree in computer science or related discipline. 2. At least 2 years experience as a tester 3. A good understanding of the software development process 4. Good knowledge in preparing and automation of testing plans 5. High attention to details 6. Familiarity with bug tracking and collaborative development systems.
