Description 1.Technical writer will be responsible for compiling all documentation for business requirements by working with the Development and Production Support Team members to capture, document and manage IT related documents including: 2.Liaise with department heads and end users to define identify business procedures and establish documentation needs for hardware and software 3.Updating of user manuals 4—Write and update Help files 5—Research, evaluate, and recommend new documentation tools and methods in support of documentation improvement efforts. 6—Distil relevant information and present that information in an easy to understand format using text, photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts 7—Maintain document repository 8—Contribute to and communicate documentation standards, and provide training where required. 9—Analyse IT project requirements to determine and deliver types of documents needed. 10—Collaborate with Production Support and development staff to collect and interpret technical information. 11.The technical writer also is required to support Consultants and Proposal writer in response to tenders, proposals and other business documentation. Plan, design, research, write, and edit a range of documents, including user guides and manuals, technical specifications, training materials, user policies, for both print and online media
Qualifications 1•Good General Trading Business understanding‐preferably Business degree (English Section) or similar. 2•Good understanding of Software development, Manuals, documentation and help documents writing. 3•Exceptional written and oral communication skills with a focus on rapport‐building, listening, and interviewing skills. 4•Ability to conduct research into a wide range of IT & Business issues as required. 5•Ability to absorb and retain information quickly, specifically complex technical information. 6•Ability to analyse target audience and to present ideas in user‐friendly language. 7•Proven analytical and problem‐solving abilities. 8.2‐3 years experience as a Technical writer
