Responsibilities:
As DP Operator, you are responsible for the navigation and manoeuvring of the vessel using the DP equipments and for the activities on deck. In addition to administrative tasks, you are also responsible for the safety equipment on board. You help the Captain to manoeuvre the vessel. As DP Operator, you serve in the Captain’s absence. You are also responsible for ballasting the ship to ensure that stability remains within the legal limits, as well as for motivating and commanding the crew so that they are aware of their responsibilities and able to carry them out to the best of their ability.
Requirements:
• Master All Ships certificate;
• Egyptian citizenship is required;
• Valid certificates of fitness for maritime work;
• Basic Safety Training and Advanced Firefighting;
• Radar Navigator, Ship Management, Medical Training U (Unlimited);
• Basic (Introduction) DP course;
• Advanced Simulator DP course;
• Experience of Over 6 Months on DP Vessels is a Must;
• Experience on a tug/multicat or similar vessel is a plus;
• Experience with towage services or pusher tug work or with anchor handling activities is a plus.
