Description -Creativity/Innovation: Develop new and unique ways to improve operations of the organization and to create new opportunities. -Focus on Client Needs: Anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of internal and external clients to meet or exceed their expectations. -Lead: Positively influence others to achieve results that are in the best interest of the organization. Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization. -Organize: Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details. -Plan: Determine strategies to move the organization forward, set goals, create and implement actions plans, and evaluate the process and results. -Solve Problems: Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions. -Think Strategically: Assesses options and actions based on trends and conditions in the environment. -Accomplishes human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. -Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans; preparing and completing action plans; implementing change. -Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; initiating corrective actions.
Qualifications 1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as computer science, engineering, project management or business administration, IT or other related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience that is required for the specific job level. 2. A strong technical background is required to manage technical projects and handle competing interests. 3. All candidates should have proven leadership, coaching, and relationship management experience. Concrete demonstrable experience and other qualifications include: 4. Advanced degree, ideally an MBA, with at least 2 years of management experience; ability to point to specific examples of having developed and operationalized strategies that have taken an organization to the next stage of growth. 5. Agile or Lean Software Development experience and/or Extreme Programming methodologies.
