Description Supervise accounting and financial reporting within the organization. Administer, and monitor the financial system in order to ensure that the municipal finances are maintained in an accurate and timely manner Act as the first point of contact for the auditors and communicate with them to ensure all questions can be answered efficiently. Ensure financial policies, and procedures are followed. Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivables system in order to insure complete and accurate records of all transactions. Analyze operating unit financial results and obtain explanation for variances from plan. Ensure all finance records are kept accurately and securely and in line with legislative requirements Ensure financial policies are being adhered to as set out in the companys financial guidelines. Review financial guidelines with company and Finance sub-committee annually. Assist with preparation of the budget. Ensure financial policies and procedures are followed. Establish and maintain cash controls. Monitor cash reserves and investments. Assist with the preparation of the Board of Directors book and other periodic financial reports as directed. Support acquisition activities as required, as well as other special projects requested by the Director or executives of the company. Manage the tax process of the group and be able to provide a consolidated overview of tax exposures and follow up compliance of subsidiaries with the local laws
Qualifications University Degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields. A CFA, CPA or advanced degree in finance would be a plus. Excellent English communication skills – written and verbal, French is preferable. Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills. Excellent computer skills and oracle knowledge is a plus. Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.

Other Skills Minimum 3 years in a managerial level. Strong background in financial analysis, financial reporting, and budgeting. Knowledge of principles and processes related to business planning, analysis and budgeting.
