Job Description Form Job: Mechanical ,Planning  & Cost Control Engineer Department : Technical Authorities: The Mechanical , Planning & Cost Control  Engineer is delegated the full authority required to fulfill the responsibilities & duets listed as per under this job description. Approval & signature levels are in accordance with the company delegation of authority chart General responsibilities: ·         The Planning & Cost Control Engineer for all projects control , quality control for local fabrication and make the cost control & delivery control  for the projects. ·         Prepare the designing work.                                 Duties:  1-Reported to Technical General Manager 2-Prepare the Technical work for all projects  . Follow up and solve problems when fabricating the project  process .-3 4-Responsible for the bill of materials, consumables list .   5-Responsible for the design drawings. 6-Weekly report on the progress of the project. 7-achieve cost savings and identify deviations from project plan by managing all cost control/reporting systems and procedures such as vessels’ capex /conversion costs, revenues, forecast purchases of material, equipment and services, ensure that changes in cost and schedule impact of all changes are captured and re-billed to client/vendor. This includes . 8-Collect all the cost related to the local fabrication . 9-coordination with the various department timely and accurate cost data is available for preparation of cost reports. 10- preparation of cost report updates and report generation for review by Management. 11-performance of cost data processing and analysis in order to provide Management with project status, forecasts and definition of alternatives. 12-responsible for maintenance the equipment & tools .  13-Any other work recommended by department manager & department G. Manager. Minimum Qualifications ·         B.SC degree of Mechanical engineering. ·         Shall have enough knowledge about soft ware programming and information technology. ·         Shall have the qualification required to fulfill his duties and responsibility as above.
