Description —Manage the operations in the factory. —Organize, set up and optimize production, while observing specifications. —Monitor operations on a daily basis. —Manage maintenance tasks. —Will be in charge of developing processes to measure productivity (equipment performance, team efficiency). —Reviewing production schedules. —Establishing quality control procedures. —Apply principles of engineering, manufacturing technology and management science to the production process in order to make it as efficient as possible. —Ensure that the manufacturing process operates as smoothly as possible, reducing costly inefficiencies to a minimum. —Responsible for making sure that the manufacturing equipment is in good working order. —Working with employees involved in the manufacturing process, to identify and resolve potential problems that could lead to equipment failure. —Saving time and money without affecting the quality of the finished product.
Qualifications •Bachelors degree in industrial engineering •From one to two years experience in the industrial field. •Familiarity with the companys technology and how its products work. •Ability to manage teams and lead several tasks at the same time, and to handle pressure and tight deadlines •Strong knowledge of the manufacturing process, from start to finish. •Proficiency with CAD (computer-assisted design) tools
