SSD position  Roles & Responsibilities: To be safety aware, e.g. awareness of legislation/guidance, to include reporting accidents – managing safety of team when required to supervise a shift Communication of safety information to team members when supervising a shift Effective use of company safety management system Knowledge of emergency procedures Management of team during an emergency Communicates effectively with all other team members Directly supervise teams during night shift Co-ordinate the upkeep of ROV planned maintenance schedules Capable of assessing weather conditions and operational parameters for safe ROV operations Familiarity with correct use of company format for report writing Proven written skills Capable of pro-active involvement with projected work scopes to meet client requirements Through understanding of underwater operations and equipment Through understanding of Launch and Recovery system Demonstrate working knowledge of the company FMS and associated ROV procedures.
