Description Full lifecycle application development. Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages. Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation. Experience in Speech Recognition and Pattern Recognition. Experience in using Speech Recognition toolkits like Microsoft Speech & Sphinx. Robust speech feature extraction and signal processing for speech enhancement. Speech enhance and processing of noisy speech with human voice in the background. Engage some initial research off signal separation and neural network processing. Run evaluation and research on keyword spotting. Conduct some experiment on robust small vocabulary CSR with noisy speech. Evaluate and integrate open source and commercial ASR packages. Improve speech recognition rates by developing and adapting optimal acoustic models for the various living room environments. Develop and tune large vocabulary statistical language models for speech recognition for the media vertical. Design and implement various scripts on Linux to analyze large data sets.
Qualifications Excellent Knowledge in ASP .Net, Web Form Development, HTML, CSS, Javascript & Jquery is a must. Good Knowledge in ASP Classic, C#, VB, Microsoft SQL and relational databases. Good Knowledge of Software Development Process is an asset. Solid signal processing background. Solid C/C++ programming. Familiarity with speech recognition theory and experience productizing at least one commercial or open-source ASR engine. Proficient in Matlab simulations and C programming. Proficient in scripting and data-analysis. Familiar with some version control and bug tracking tools. Detailed knowledge of ASR components like Language/Acoustic model training and search algorithms. Understanding of the hidden Markov model and standard criteria for training and adaptation (e.g. MCE, MMI, MAP). Experience in development and testing of distributed software projects.
