Description 1. Manage and execute the Internal Audit Activity to support the strategic directions. 2. Coordinate specific processes to support the implementation and execution of the Audit Plan. 3. Develop and maintain strategic and operational risk based audit plans 4. Conducts risk assessments and identifies controls in place to mitigate identified risks. 5. Utilities audit software and data analytical tools to enhance efficiencies in the audit process. 6. Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy 7. Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls. 8. Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information 9. Analyses and concludes on effectiveness and efficiency of control environment. 10. Identifies control gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications • Excellent knowledge of business operations and risk-based auditing attained through 6 to 9 years of progressive work experience with a focus on financial risk and regulatory requirements. • Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator • Excellent Managerial and analytical skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
