Accountabilities /Position summary:

 Handles customers on both verbal and written scopes under the big umbrella of “Strengthen SCCT Relationship with Customers”. ,operations, finance etc.. ).
Influences customers’ heads through regular meetings to adhere to SLA agreed with and get them convinced of what SCCT is selling them of services and operational deadlines that may come sometimes out of their comfort zones.
Influences and liaises with internal different departments through regular meetings to make sure customer demand and needs are properly met.
Follows up consistently ongoing cases with customers and customer concerns, communicates them internally and follows up improvement.
Follows up consistently action points from meetings with customers to make sure progress is in place.
Enforces “Customer Satisfaction” concept internally among different departments so that the whole organization speaks the same language.
Stakeholders’ management to drive different projects to control expansion of Services Portfolio and Value Added Service increase (I.e. BCO, Big Ship Story, Port Dues track, SCA’s 8% surcharge track, Barge service, Rail product, ICD, PTI initiation, Repair yard and Washing yard.
Handles daily Berth Game Plan meeting with Operational different functions to make sure customer priorities are clearly set for Operations decision makers.
Determines promotions and any exceptions required for customers based on customer position, customer experience and company strategy.Handles meetings at SCCT with different external parties (Shippers, Consignees, Customers and Freight Forwarders).
Handles meetings with the top 20 Shippers and Consignees.).
Maintains and follows up eCommerce setup (EDI setup enhancement, portal services enhancement and TermView control).
Local product promotion and increase.


Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Requires a college degree in business, marketing or related discipline.
Requires at least Three years of direct marketing/sales experience in transportation or related industry.
Must have fundamental knowledge of Maritime transportation industry, sales methods and practices, trends, and customers.
Must be familiar with best practices in the industry, with respect to marketing, sales, and business development.
Requires superior verbal and written communications skills.
Requires good analytical skills, including the ability to extract, compile and analyse data.
Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment, with an ability to understand the effect of decisions overall in the company.
Requires excellent interpersonal skills & an ability to interact with customers tactfully.
Must be able to handle company information with confidentiality and discretion.
