Description —Responsible for the design, layout and coding of a new website for the company. —Write the programming code, either from scratch or by adapting existing website software and graphics packages to meet business requirements Test the website and identify any technical problems Upload the site onto a server and register it with different search engines. —Creation of site layout/user interface from provided design concepts by using standard HTML/CSS practices. —Placement and layout of web site pages given companys provided content. —Development of robust and user-friendly .NET-based web applications. —Design and creation of relational database schemas. Application/Framework design as needed. —Specifications/Requirements gathering as needed. —Routine daily maintenance of existing & new site and applications. —To be responsible of the technical and graphical aspects of a website - how the site works and how it looks. —To be responsible of the maintenance and update of an existing site until migrating to the new website. —To make sure that the design and pattern of the developed website is as per the requirements of the company; in terms of graphics, effects, animations, —functionality, and features. —To make sure about the ranking of the website, which can be improved with a process known as Search Engine Optimization (SEO). —To maintain the quality of websites and adding to it for making it more informative. —After the website is developed, to keep a detailed record of its technical performance and functioning with the web server.
Qualifications •Well versed in different computer languages and applications that are required in website designing and development.• Some of these essential languages and software are HTML, XML, Java, C++, C#, Perl, VBScript, PHP, JavaScript, DOM, CSS, Visual Basic .NET, Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, Paint Shop Pro, etc. •For gaining entry into this field, it is essential to have good educational qualifications. •2+ years of rapid web development, using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, ASP.Net, C#, •Candidates should have proven. •NET experience as well as a solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and Programming. •A solid understanding of web application development processes, from the layout/user interface to relational database structures. •Understanding the benefits of SEO and the development skills to support SEO are a plus. •Strong communication and writing skills. •Ability to grow professionally in a highly flexible and fast-moving environment.
