Description General Purpose of the Position: The Personnel Specialist is required to apply Labor Law and University Employment rules, regulations and procedures, in the areas of personnel record keeping, payroll, and Personnel documents processing and related personnel transactions functions. Summary of Responsibilities: Supports the new employee orientation process; Ensures that all required new employee forms are properly prepared and signed; creates new employee personnel files. Creates and update employees profiles on the HRIS. Navigates and manage data within the time and attendance system (HITS). Processes data related to current employees with respect to Human Resources Forms: Justifications, Leaves, Voluntary Separations, etc. Provides statistical information and reports as requested by the Manager of Human Resources. Composes letters, memoranda, lists and other materials according to established procedures. Manages and administrates the Life and Medical insurance enrollment and claims for the employees. Files and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.
Qualifications Bachelor Degree / HR diploma is an asset. 1-2 Practical years of experience in Human Resources Department. Excellent command of word, excel and power point. Personally motivated, with high level of communication skills and high level of mind concentration, time management, and customer orientation. Ability to work under stress.
