Description Job Summary: The role of Senior Translator is to convert texts from one language into another precisely and accurately. This needs a professional to understand the subject matter of documents in order to translate the information into other languages. She/he needs to manipulate sentences and ideas to have the same meaning of the source language text in order to help our clients to use the translated document for its purpose. Additionally, she/he needs to check the quality and the accuracy of the translation against the source language to maintain the final deliverables within the approved quality standards. Responsibilities 1. Translate documents into specified language(s) precisely and accurately, maintaining message content and context. 2. Follow ethical codes that protect data or information linked to the client. 3. Identify and resolve conflicts related to the meanings of words and concepts. 4. Check translations of technical terms and related sources to be sure that the translated documents are accurate and consistent throughout translation. 5. Respond to client feedbacks.
Qualifications Education & Work Experience Requirements: 1. University Degree in Translation, Language Literature/Arts ect. 2. Full command of at least two languages is a must. 3. Minimum of 2-5 years experience in translation. Skills: 1. Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. 2. Sense of urgency: ability to juggle priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines. 3. Big picture orientation with superior attention to accuracy and detail. 4. Strong commitment to working in a team environment and demonstrated sense of valuing collaboration. 5. Fast learner and ability to quickly familiarize with and adopt new tools.
