Description The Card Operations Manager is essentially responsible for coordinating and managing the daily activities of the Card Operations Department, the subsequent network operations, system changes, and any new product introductions. Key Responsibilities: * Designs and implements card operations policies and procedures and recommends changes to increase efficiency. * Ensures that card operations adhere to the organizations financial and business strategies. * Generating system profiles as needed, definition of billing schedules, implementation of fee profiles, etc. * Receiving and channeling new system requirements to the IT department. * Preparing, testing and coordinating for the implementation of new system updates or requirements. * Revision of payment and fraud monitoring reports. * Ensuring that all transactions are credited daily without discrepancies; this involves supervision of payments updates, G/L updates, manual cash advance payment processing, etc. * Handles operation updates, security bulletins, charge-back or accounting related or fee - related issues. * Upon the introduction of new products, the Cards Operations Manager shall develop a check list of user acceptance testing, test the system, and recommend testing results in order to ensure proper functioning of the system. * Decide which staff has access to system inquiries and who is allowed into the maintenance level in order to coordinate system access and safeguard system resources. * To ensure adequate service delivery, the Cards Operations Manager shall confirm the quality and timeliness of the service, ensure that customer requirements are promptly handled, motivate staff to complete their assigned targets, and ensure that there is sufficient back-up when teams leave.
Qualifications * Egyptian National. * A bachelors degree in area of specialty and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. * Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. * Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. * Performs a variety of tasks. * Leads and directs the work of others.
