Description 1- Planning, development and implementing IT strategy including budget and ensure IT strategy is fitting with business needs and plans 2- Obtaining competitive prices from supplier where appropriate to ensure cost effectiveness 3- Evaluating user needs and system functionality by assisting applications manager and technical support manager 4- Monitoring and controlling scheduling upgrades and security backup and system software 5- Ensuring smooth running of all applications and system software 6- Ensuring secure access to the network for local and remote users 7-Conducting crises situation and ensure follow of Business continuity procedures 8- Monitoring IT staff training to ensure their skills shall support IT strategy and projects 9-Ensuring user support and solving their technical problems
Qualifications * Experience in Insurance is a must B.sc in computer sciences and networking or equivalent related studies 1.Minimum 15 years of experience in the information Technology field, Minimum of five years of managerial experience 2. Experienced in the development of long and short range information technology planes that support business goals 3.Knowledgeable of the latest technologies and application. Good ability to think creatively in order to apply to technology to improve operations.4.Proven track in leadership. Experienced in the recruitment and development of high performing team that perform to challenging objectives 5.Able to make a necessary organizational decisions regarding staffing and workload in order to quickly make the necessary change to improve performance
