Description — Develop the branch policies and procedures for different Project/Product types and gain the required sign-off on these from senior management. — Train all employees in implementing these policies and procedures. — Monitor and Audit the activities of the employees to ensure adherence to defined policies and procedures. — Manages QC department and overall expectations pertaining to setting accurate schedules, costs and resources for projects/products. — Manages the execution of project/product QC efforts, including all associated resources to meet committed delivery dates. — Responsible on Sign-off on project/product final releases, and escalating the bad Quality of the interdepartmental deliverables and final releases to the client. — Directly supervises QC Team Leads, QC Engineers and their activities. — Responsible on selecting, interviewing and hiring QC Team member and conduct the performance evaluations and career development activities. — Responsible on conducting the required Training and awareness sessions for the new QC Team members. — Responsible on selecting the suitable Software tools for QC team and other related departments. — Implements ongoing quality improvement for settled processes by working with interdepartmental teams. — Provide the Management with the suitable statistical reports for projects/products issues and process improvement issues.
Qualifications 2+ years as a QC manager. Must be certified – at least ISTQB or equivalent. Working knowledge of CMMI, testing tools.
