Description Works closely with the Dean of Student Affairs on the following: Development of new partnerships around the world in concert with ZCs strategic plan. Creating and assessing new exchange and study abroad agreements, summer programs and entering new consortia. Providing timely reports on operations of Student Affairs & international partnerships. Design & develop international students recruitment plans to position ZC on the International Education map. Recommend to the VP new policies affecting the student life and legal issues affecting study abroad and exchange students. International Education: Develop & strengthen the Universitys relationships with potential & existing partner institutions to foster international collaboration, as well as faculty and student exchange. Initiate, develop and promote study abroad opportunities for ZC students worldwide. Students Summer Training/Internship: Initiate the planning and implementation of student services related to summer training, internships, career planning and alumni and student counselling. Collaborates with Deans, Program Directors, and other related committees and functional users in the implementation, development and maintenance of a versatile and effective summer training and internship programs. Communication & Marketing: Set the overall plan and design of the marketing strategy. Positioning the office in alignment with current trends in student affairs & study abroad policies and practices internationally. Student Orientation - Design, plan, implement and evaluate mandatory, comprehensive, integrated new students orientation focusing on their needs. Assessment: Assessing the offices goals and ensuring successful implementation of its mission; continually survey students to assess effectiveness of offered programs. Plan and implement in-house staff development workshops/training for staff, provide mentoring to staff to support stellar performance and new ideas.
Qualifications Bachelor degree is required. Master’s Degree is an asset; preferably in Business Administration or Education. Minimum 15 years of experience including 5 years in a managerial position in an educational institution, preferably in providing services to students.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as demonstrated ability to take initiatives. Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software.
