Description — Negotiating, sourcing and purchasing construction materials, goods and services — Preparing export/import documentation and monitoring & following up on export/import shipments to ensure timely delivery of order. — Close control of purchasing budgets — Ensuring delivery schedules are met — Preparing ongoing reports for company executives — Preparing all necessary documentation and reviewing orders — Initiate coordination with all departments. — File and maintain all related documents.
Qualifications 15-20 years exp. in construction materials export/import/customs. Degree in Logistics, engineering construction background • Planning, organizing, financial, budgeting, decision-making, communication and interpersonal skills •Familiarity through previous experience with construction materials suppliers and broad knowledge of exporting/importing from suppliers within Egypt and African regions • Good understanding of the pricing structure within each country. • Having a complete list of all big construction materials suppliers/factories in Egypt. • Strong market awareness. • Attention to detail and problem-solving. • Excellent computer skills.
