Description Leading a team of engineers to achieve designs shop drawings for steel construction work by contacting the client to fulfil the clients requirements and to solve any problems connected to the clients orders and requests Follow up on the Schedule by Checking the basic drawings from the clients to order the material take off Represents the company as the engineering designing processes by contacting the client to solve any technical quarries or any kind of problems Contacting different departments to achieve the schedule, including the production, project procurement, projects and Material control departments Solving any kind of returned work from the production department connected to the fabrication problems concerning the technical office Monitor all the steel construction drawing and design work in cases of civil work Review the material control and quantity survey of the steel fabrication of any project before the project starts and sends the report to the chief of engineers Leading engineers to finish the required jobs according to the schedule put to make sure it is done on time and undertake checks on the work completed under own supervision Providing points of contact between team members and the needing personal support ensuring they are aware of the companys policies and reference needed to give their best to the technical office
Qualifications - Using Tekla and OR 3D modeling . - The job must have a minimum 5 years in a leading Technical office position with a bachelors degree of civil engineering in steel construction designing High computer skills (MS Projects, pro steel, Office, AutoCAD, all Design programs) Required strong communication and leadership skills also well developed planning and organising skills and ability to perform under pressure Leadership skills
