The Copy editor will be responsible for reviewing translated articles for linguistic accuracy and to make sure the Arabic is smooth and natural. They will work closely with the editorial team to make sure the magazine comes up with the highest quality of accurate Arabic translation. They will also review the final pages to make sure that no mistakes are present before sending to publishing.
Qualifications Graduate degree from an Arabic-language-related major with an interest in science. Post graduate studies in Arabic language or translation will be an advantage.

Experience 3 - 5 Years.
Other Skills The ideal candidate will be a professional with a strong experience in producing journalistic Arabic text of the highest quality. They should have some experience working within an editorial team and have an eye for details and be able to handle strict deadlines. They will be comfortable with using various Word processing applications and preferably Adobe InCopy. They should also have strong English and be able to compare the original and translated texts for accuracy and should be familiar with how to handle English scientific words in Arabic. Above all, they must be hardworking, dedicated and a team player able to work with the rest of the editorial team comfortably and effectively.
