• Providing and interpreting financial information. • Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends. • Analyzing change and advising accordingly. • Formulating strategic and long-term business plans. • Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance. • Analyzing competitors and market trends. • Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk. • Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities. • Managing a companys financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems. • Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out. • Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations. • Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines. • Managing budgets. • Arranging new sources of finance for a companys debt facilities. • Supervising, training and evaluating staff.
Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree (faculty of commerce). One to four years of experience in a similar position. Have a flare for numbers. Work well with people and have a very positive work attitude including willing to work some longer hours during peak periods. Aggressively anticipate impacts of workload/issues to team deadlines Strong experience in income statement analysis and Treasury. Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with look ups and pivot tables. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects.
