• Design plans using computer-aided design. • Work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and architects • Help design products with engineering and manufacturing techniques. • Add details to architectural plans from their knowledge of building techniques • Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers and architects • Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products • Work under the supervision of engineers or architects • Meets with requesters to determine requirements of projects; determines feasibility of project and prepares cost estimates. • Performs original design work utilizing specifications, sketches and ideas on developing designs. • Analyzes space utilization effectiveness and changing demands for space needs: recommends actions to meet new requirements. • Assists in compiling data for architectural plans and specifications. • Assists in the preparation for plans for existing buildings where plans are not available. • Assists in conducting preliminary studies of proposed projects to obtain information as to space and design requirements, obtaining measurements and making sketches preliminary to the preparation of drawing. • Assists in preparation of scale drawing of details required for contract drawing. • Assists in preparation of design development drawings. • Assists in preparation of layout and draws preliminary sketch of project to present to client. • Assists in developing and/or coordinating development of detailed working drawings and specifications after approval for project has been obtained. • Provides support to Architects and management staff.
Qualifications • Familiar with building code and zoning • BA/BS degree in Architecture. • Minimum 2 years of experience. • Proficient in MS Tools, Excel, PowerPoint & Word. • Extensive knowledge in AutoCAD is a must. • Able to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and very meticulous and patient. • Ability to create aesthetically pleasing and usable drawings. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Must take care of design projects with less supervision needed. • Excel in 3D application knowledge and creativity, and show polished execution of project renderings. • Actively participate in strategic creative support. • Ability to work well in a team environment. • Read, write and speak English.
