To maintain good order and discipline among the pupils. • To organise and manage groups or individual pupils ensuring differentiation of needs, reflecting all abilities. • To participate in staff meetings and parents meetings as required. • To communicate with parents over all aspects of their children’s social and behavioural progress. • To support the Supervisor in promoting the capabilities of the department. • To promote the welfare of children and to support the school in safeguarding children though relevant policies and procedures. • To promote equality as an integral part of the role and to treat every student with fairness and dignity. • Supervises students in and out-of-classroom activities during the school day; breaks and dismissal time. • Participates in developing the physical education programs as required. • Evaluates students, keeps appropriate records, and prepares progress reports. • Identifies student needs and cooperates with other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve health, attitude, and learning problems. • Planning after school clubs for activities. • Planning school wide activities such as field trips, fun days and morning exercise breaks. • Prepare a year-long program of learning experiences that link physical activities with issues related to health and well being. • Instruct students in the safety practices associated with different environments, including swimming pools, gymnasiums and playing fields
Qualifications Bachelors degree in a relevant field and/or previous years of experience.
