Receiving blood, tissue, and other body fluid samples. •Prepare these samples for routine testing •Prepare the laboratory equipment and specimens for tests •Analyze and record test results in order to issue reports that utilize graphs, charts, and narratives. •Provides test results for patient diagnosis and treatment by operating chemistry, hematology and coagulation equipment. •Organizes work by matching test requests with specimen labeling; sorting specimens; checking labeling; logging specimens; arranging reports for delivery; keeping work surfaces clean and orderly. •Maintains quality results internal and external quality controls, verifying equipment function through routine equipment maintenance and advanced trouble shooting; calibrating equipment utilizing approved testing procedures; monitoring quality control measures and protocols. •Monitor the environmental conditions (i.e. room temperature and humidity) on daily basis. •Keep the laboratory and all equipment clean. •Responsible for House Keeping, Waste disposal and Chemicals management. •Responsible for Heamatology Analayzer and Automated Analyzer. •Backup for Coagulation analyzer and other equipment in lab. •Backup to Archivist in Archiving.
Qualifications Bachelor degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry
