Description — provides advice to the Manager and the Director on all areas of cash management, investments and accounts receivable. — contributes to the development of policies and procedures for cash management, treasury accounts receivable activities as well as financial reporting — Identifies necessary changes to the Centres investment policy and works with the Manager, Director and the Chief Financial Officer on recommendations to the Boards Finance and Audit Committee — Prepares a projection of future cash shortages and surpluses, and analyzes the cause of variances — Reviews the Cash Flow requirements report to ensure that there are sufficient funds available to meet operational requirements and recommending any adjustments to scheduled payments or redeeming investments to ensure adequate funds; — Reviews and approves the preliminary and final payment registers for cheque — Analyzes exchange rates on FX transactions to ensure that pricing is in accordance with contractual commitments — Prepares payment service standards and a calendar of payment issuance by payment type to ensure that service providers and external clients and stakeholders are aware of the frequency of payment batches. — Certifies and issues in a timely manner the monthly report on Analysis of Investment Income, complete with an analysis of where the cash is invested, the rate of return earned as compared to benchmarks (i.e., 90-day treasury), and the weighted average return on the portfolio.
Qualifications Highly proficient in Office suite and Excel. Well organized Attention to details
