Description     Undertaking the following responsibilities while ensuring adherence to AOTIC standards, policies, procedures and authority limits: 1- Receiving claims advice, creating physical file and registering claims data on the electronic information system. 2- Assessing the validity of claims against the product type, the contracts and conditions of policies. 3- Conducting accidents surveys or assigning an external surveyor and preparing the related reports. 4- Handling correspondences and negotiations with clients. 5- Accepting claims within authority limits and referring to the Claims Manager in claims in excess of authority limits. 6- Calculating claim settlement amounts, preparing settlement proposal memos. 7- Ensuring maximum fairness in claims assessment and settlement. 8- Ensuring effective documentation and data required in finalizing outstanding claims. 9- Handling salvage and recovery assessment and processing. 10- Following up on legal cases as needed. 11- Checking reinsurance distribution and handle correspondences from and to the reinsurers and following up on the reinsurers claims shares for the claims within authority limits. 12- Assisting the executive head and/or the Claims manager in preparing statistics for reinsurers.
Qualifications     Ability to apply legal principles and policies terms and conditions to handle standard claims in line. - Strong analytical, logical and problem solving abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high customer service orientation in dealing with various internal clients as well as external reinsurance companies and business partners. - Assertive and decisive. - Strong critical thinking abilities. - Highly motivated with an ability to handle work pressure and to meet tight deadlines. - Good reporting skills. - Teamwork abilities. - Self-control - Very good computer skills. - Excellent written & spoken English and Arabic.
