Description Creating GIS maps and graphs, using GIS software and related equipment. —Compile and enter geographic data and keep the field data field updated —Operate and maintain GIS system hardware, software, plotter, color printer, etc. —Present information to users and answer questions. —Provide basic IT support for the field computers, server, and network and troubleshoot any possible failures
Qualifications •Highly proficient in ArchGIS software with excellent in GIS mapping preparation •Candidate should provide working samples of GIS maps •Minimum 5-7 years active experience related to GIS activities and map preparation; •Thorough knowledge of computers and computer related software and hardware •Ability to maintain our network server is essential; •Knowledgeable in survey techniques using a Differential GPS; •Well versed in AutoCAD drafting would be an asset; and •Ability to work in a remote location in the Eastern Desert with isolated and relatively harsh conditions, mandatory •Knowledge of geologic, metal exploration, or mining terminology would be an asset..

Compensations 4,000 – 6,000 LE (total gross fee) / month, for an initial two month term only.
