Description Based in the control room & monitoring the VDUs, continuously checks status of Utilities including trends, tank levels, maintenance requirements & alarms. Receives reports, memos & instructions from engineering personnel which keep him informed. From the control room, responsible for the Fire Pumps system, Paging system and emergency calls / information. Makes announcements over the intercom based on information received. Identifies and recommends to the Utilities Supervisor any need for remedial work or plant replacement to ensure reliable continuous operation. Works safely at all times. Observes all quality & housekeeping policies. Keeps own work area clean & hygienic.
Qualifications Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 2-4 years of Experience in Electrical power stations or Sugar Companies. Work Inside & outside manufacturing facility. Shift work – should be available for call out if necessary. Responsible for Utilities operation & maintenance.
