Description Organise and supervise the activities and work of a small team of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of Costing Accounts activity is carried out in an efficient and procedurally compliant manner Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner Supervises the day-to-day operations of Costing Accounts to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures Review the inventory variances transactions, using the Oracle to ensure matching the current average prices comparing to the standard price, and analyze the variances /if any, in order to save guard of the company current assets and usage control. Minimize overstock and remove obsolete raw material in order to maintain the working capital as per the plan. Review and release all purchasing orders in order to assure that all added costs were considered as well as every consumption rate Make sure that all purchase orders are matching with USCE- LOA. Assist in analysing the manufacturing cost including cost of goods sold, manufacturing variances and inventory adjustments by using the Oracle. Acting as a backup for the costing manager in full details when he is absent. Performing monthly closing tasks. Preparing annual closing documentation for external auditors. Assist costing manager in all internal and external audit requirements to be prepared and provided in time in full details.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college in Accounting, Finance Internal control systems and concepts. ERP systems, which includes system processes and data flow. English proficiency. Ability to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision. Ability to exhibit patience while working under stress and pressure. Ability to pay close attention to detail with accuracy. PC proficiency in word processing, spread sheet (advanced excel). Familiar with manufacturing financial costing and inventory. V. Good English (Speaking, Writing & Understanding) PC proficiency in word processing, spread sheet
