Description 1. Act as primary contact with outside fleet administration provider and leasing company. Negotiate contracts, approve payments, and conduct quarterly fleet reviews with outside fleet administrator. 2. Develop and maintain relationships with outside vendors and service providers including vehicle manufacturers. Negotiate contracts, approve payments. 3. Escalation contact for employees who participate in a fleet program in matters related to the administration of the fleet policy. 4. Develop and enforce approved fleet policies and procedures and oversee compliance and reporting of such policies and procedures. 5. Initiate, monitor, and recommend adjustments to fleet policies in order to maximize the fleets efficiency and profitability, reduce liability exposure, and follow industry best practices. This includes acquisition, maintenance and remarketing as determined by cost effective life cycle analysis. 6. Approve all vehicle and equipment specifications and cost management programs. 7. 9. Manage vehicle disposition process. 8. Approve monthly invoicing. 9. Monitor industry regulations, standards and activities, including supplier changes, program innovations and new services. . 10. Respond to requests from management relative to fleet operations, history and policies. 11. Maintain all historical databases and records relative to fleet drivers such as training, incidents, actions.
Qualifications 1. Minimum of three years of fleet management experience required. Four to five years experience managing a large fleet program strongly preferred. 2. Proven experience performing analytics, both financial and research oriented. 3. Proven experience using Excel, Access, and Web-based fleet administration tools.
