Description This position will be responsible for data marts from beginning to end. Guided by and working closely with the data manager in overall project management, requirements gathering, data modeling (logical and physical), design of data marts in Oracle, ETL (Extraction, Transformation, and Loading) programming of required data, as well as the operations, maintenance and support of the data marts. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing data entry applications. The candidate will also be tasked with other duties as needed by the team. Candidates must be comfortable working at various levels, from project management to hands-on database tasks and programming. They must have exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work within a team environment. This position will work with confidential and proprietary information that requires a signed IT Employee Invention and Confidentiality Agreement upon hire
Qualifications University Degree in Computer Science. Minimum 1 to 3 years work Experience in telecom field. Advanced skills in PL/ SQL and Oracle 11g . Good skills in Unix shell programming. Good skills in SQL Server. Good skills in Business Objects Advanced skills in Oracle database Tuning. Advanced skills in InfoSphere DataStage. Advanced Programming skills in Java/.NET/C++/C#. Microsoft Office, with advanced excel skills. Experience in one of the following systems is an advantage: BSCS, Ericsson Charging.
