• Responsible for developing sources of qualified applicants and screening applicants • Conducts interviews and evaluates applicants’ qualifications for vacant positions • Supervises recruitment administrator’s daily work (scheduling interviews, preparing contracts, approvals to hire, etc.) • Responsible for administering pre-employment tests (IQ, English and medical check-up tests) for potential candidates • Coordinates with department heads to conduct panel interviews to speed up the recruitment process (depending on the urgency of filling the vacant position) • Writes and maintains job descriptions for all Trade LOB employees • Develops and maintains internal job posting program (mainly for referrals) • Responsible for sending HR announcements for newly hired employees • Conducts exit interviews and prepares leavers’ analysis report on a quarterly basis • Contacts recruitment agencies to build a pool of applicants –depending on the vacant position • Responsible for attending employment fairs regularly • Sends the monthly joiners and leavers sheet to the Compensation division • Handles employees terminations and deals with their problems accordingly • Responsible for regularly updating Trade LOB recruitment plan versus actual headcount • Responsible for posting recruitment newspapers advertisements to build a pool of applicants – depending on the vacant position • Prepares and annually updates the organizational chart of Trade LOB • Responsible for setting subordinate’s quarterly objectives and conducting the annual performance appraisal
Qualifications Functional level: • Excellent knowledge of the techniques of conducting professional interviews • Excellent knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures and principles • Expertise on sound judgment of applicants (in terms of their knowledge, skills and abilities) • Recruitment agencies contacts Educational background: Bachelor degree in Business Administration is preferable Courses: HR diploma Professional experience: 3-5 years in the Human Resources field
