• Ensure the adherence to guidelines for all project activities and steps, such as NRHDM, OECD, and ICH as required by Malaysian guidelines. • Review all project documents, such as contracts, protocols, etc….. • Review project follow up monthly report (Interim report). • Prepare for external audits as well as internal audits. • Ensure the integrity of all the studies and thus the validity of the experimental results, including standardization, pre-clinical and clinical studies according to quality assurance project plan. • Verify that the study plan contains the information required for compliance with the Principles of GLP/GCP and maintain copy of all protocols with any subsequent amendments. • Reviews SOPs and ensure that all SOPs GLP compliant, complete, clear and not conflict with other SOPs and manage the document control system. • Plan the inspections and audits considered necessary to support the study and maintain inspection and audit plans study by study. • Perform different types of audits/inspections and report any deviations to upper management. • Provide QA statement for each toxicity study. • Follow up the pre-clinical facilitys quality program, including the implementation of ISO 9001 systems and procedures. • Follow up the laboratorys quality program, including the implementation of ISO 9001 systems and procedures. • Communicate and share the company quality philosophy to key personnel in the company and provide training to company staff as well as test sites staff as required. • Review job descriptions of all the staff. • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Managing Director. Bachelor of science in Pharmacy/ Veterinary/ Biology. 5 years in Quality Assurance. Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, GLP and GCP requirements/ Trained internal auditor Leadership and employees management skills. Analyze problems, detect root causes and resolve all issues. Teaching and training skills.
