We are currently seeking a Production Editor for a new niche publication to manage the production process for all print publications from materials gathering to final print delivery. Manage and prepare all designs, templates, layouts and final artwork for all publications and other materials as required. Establish monthly production timeline for upcoming print issues Traffic all artwork, locating it, securing it and ensuring the files are ready for print and that all images for print and online output meet the required standard in quality Organise and manage the production of the monthly print publication from materials gathering, layout and setting, producing the first draft, copyrights through publishing. Modifying materials to validate formatting of text and graphics conforms to established guidelines and standards. Compile and upload magazine in accordance with set standard quality, agreed schedules, and agreed standards.
Qualifications Bachelors degree, 3 - 5 years experience, Excellent technical and design, Adobe, Illustrator, Indesign, detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
