With the assistance of the Marketing & Communications Director, the Communications Assistant will be responsible for achieving the following responsibilities: 1) Responsible for fully understanding and implementing the Marketing & Communications Identity Guideline Manual 2) Assist in writing, editing, producing, and printing Al Tadamun’s promotional material including brochures, annual reports, annual work-plans, progress reports, flyers, giveaways, posters and stationary 3) Responsible for assisting in the supervision of Al Tadamun’s branding process through working closely with qualified advertising agencies to design and create Al Tadamun’s printed and promotional material and making sure that they follow the Marketing & Communications Identity Guideline Manual 4) Conduct field visits to clients to gather success stories about them and write, edit, translate and upload them on the social media 5) Responsible for uploading and updating information about Al Tadamun on the social media (website, face-book, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc) 6) Assist in developing strong media relations with representatives from the local media and organizing press conferences which includes selecting the venue, inviting media representatives, putting together the press kit and translation 7) Write and edit reports and memos to top management and branches in English and Arabic 8) Supervise on photographers hired to conduct photo sessions and documentary films about Al Tadamun and to make sure that they follow the Marketing & Communications Identity Guideline Manual 9) Assist in events organized by Al Tadamun 10) Responsible for filing documents 11) Assist in any task asked for by the Direct Manager (Marketing & Communications Director)
Qualifications • Bachelor of Mass Communications • Excellent report writing skills in both Arabic and English is a must • Ability to translate from English to Arabic and from Arabic to English • 0-2 years of experience in mass communications field is preferable • Familiar with all Windows applications and multi-media • Ability and willingness to work with branches and clients related field work Energetic, motivated, and hard worker • Strong communications and interpersonal skills is a must • Ability to work under pressure • Experience in the development field is a plus
