Job Level Senior
Monitors the execution of the MRP related projects on a regular basis to ensure the project deliverables are delivered in time, with the agreed quality and budget. Develops policies, procedures, guidelines and standards related to the MRP functions. Conducts monthly progress meetings with the Warehouse Manager and Local & Foreign Purchasing Managers to discuss progress and status and identify issues, obstacles and potential risks in the department. Determines and analyses the forecasted and required local and foreign raw materials, packing materials, oils and lubricants, and equipments in coordination with other business departments. Coordinates with maintenance department in setting minimum and maximum raw materials, packing materials, oils and lubricants inventory levels. Coordinates with Production (Plants) in setting minimum and maximum raw material and consumables levels. Analyses and plans for peak material requisition periods to spread workflow over time and reduce “rush” and confusion. Ensures the appropriate documentation for all the required materials in order to support needs and costs validation. Coordinates with the budgeting function to ensure that each departmental material requirement fit the concerned departmental budget. Reviews and approves the purchase requests before transferring the requests to the procurement department. Oversees the materials management operations by reviewing internal and external processes, identifying problem areas and establishing action plans for improvement. Reviews inventory levels in coordination with the warehouses department to ensure maximum ability to meet customer needs and reduce inventory costs. Ensures understanding of material priorities and identifies shortfalls that could impact departmental mission. Develops material business cases for new mission changes. Establishes and maintains appropriate systems for measuring the effectiveness of MRP.
Qualifications • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent work experience. • Approximately 3 - 6 years of related experience. • Excellent judgment, tact, and decision-making ability. • Exceptional management, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. • Detail-oriented with excellent project management skills. • Proven track record. • Excellent Computer Skills
