To be responsible for the day-to-day running and overall store management. The successful candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage staff effectively. The aim is to maximize profits while minimizing costs. To ensure promotions are run accurately and to the companys standards. They make sure that staff are all working towards the target for the day and that excellent customer care standards are met at all times. •Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff •Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service •Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards •Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc •Propose innovative ideas to increase market share •Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc) •managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control; •analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales; •analyzing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning; •using information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning; •dealing with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff •ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met; •responding to customer complaints and comments; •organizing special promotions, displays and events •Develop business strategies to raise our customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability •maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing; •initiating changes to improve the business, e.g. revising opening hours to ensure the store can compete effectively in the local market;
Qualifications •Proven successful experience in store management •Powerful leading skills and business orientation •People and customer management skills •Strong organizational skills •Good communication and interpersonal skills •BS degree in Business Administration or relevant field •effective leadership and the ability to motivate others; •the ability to plan and prioritize workloads and delegate accordingly; •customer focus; •the capacity to grasp new concepts quickly; •the ability to multi-task and work under pressure; •a desire to work as part of a team to generate fresh and innovative ideas.
