• Follow up orders with vendors, customers, and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery • Arrange sample submission to customers for approval • Maintain strong business relationships with vendors for production • Follow up orders with vendors, customers, and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery • Arrange sample submission to customers for approval • Assist in the Product Development process to ensure that products meet customers’ quality and budget requirements • Maintain strong business relationships with vendors for product development and production • Assist in product development with factory mills. Maintain up to date mill history and capability • Support internal merchandising team on raw material seasonal development & fabric commitment consolidation • Build and maintain a strong local and regional vendor network to meet customers’ current and future business needs • Provide solutions and support to ensure smooth production and manufacturing process • Monitor the shipment and logistic • Work closely with the colleagues in different locations on quotation and follow-up • Merchandising, Production Control and Order follow-up • Set up and run a central fabrics library • Based on seasonal concepts and theme to recommend fabrics collection to designer/customers • Understand the customer needs and requirements, develop an effective sourcing strategy • Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Qualifications • Bachelors degree preferably in Business Administration, Merchandising, Supply Management and Textile Engineering • 5-10 years experience in merchandising and production follow up. • Good experience in the woven, knit and denim business, especially with USA customer. • Able to travel outside of Cairo within the business days • Negotiation and communication abilities and result oriented • Well organized and strong daily follow up skills • Perfect oral and written communication skills in English follow up. • Good experience in the woven, knit and denim business, especially with USA customer. • Able to travel outside of Cairo within the business days • Negotiation and communication abilities and result oriented • Well organized and strong daily follow up skills • Perfect oral and written communication skills in English
