Meet with departments to establish visions and ideas for needed designs. Select colors, images, textures and shapes to create the layout. Select the size and arrangement of the different elements. Use computer software to create electronic versions of designs. Employ color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques when designing project. Design logos for products and businesses. Develop signs and environmental graphics. Create promotional displays, packaging, and marketing brochures. Develop the layout and production design of magazine ads, newspaper ads, and other publications. Collaborate with printers to select type of paper and ink and follow up accordingly. Submit rough drafts to clients/departments for approval. Make required/needed changes to any drafts submitted. Review all print materials upon receipt from print houses to assure utmost quality.
Qualifications Must be highly experienced with: MAC and PC. Photoshop. Adobe. InDesign. Illustrator.
