support the development and delivery of the Self-access Learning (SAL) of the English projects in MENA and which are a key component of our program for English for Education Systems (EES). The role focuses on online learning though it covers all the wide range of SAL products; websites and online courses, social media, mobile and broadcast media (radio, print and TV). • In liaison with SAL Regional Manager, to support the detailed development, planning and implementation of the different SAL products in the region • To support and co-ordinate the project team (global and regional members) in identifying, defining and refining sub-project themes and activities • To support the implementation of the project ensuring all deliverables are produced and delivered to agreed standards and schedules. • To work closely with English Project Managers (EPMs) in the region to provide the support needed for the implementation and pilot of products including liaison needed with UK and other global leads. • To monitor the implementation of the various SAL products in MENA as per the agreed plan • To work with relevant colleagues for reporting on various products (including scorecard reporting, capturing success stories and other qualitative data). • To support Director English MENA and Regional Manager SAL with tasks related to regional EES initiatives such as symposiums or regional workshops. • Translate into Arabic (and proofread) existing materials for the Learn English suite of websites – and other SAL ones – using a variety of editing tools • Translate into Arabic (and proofread) text for promotional material • To maintain regular communication with EPMs and with global leads on SAL products for follow up, updates, support and monitoring • To work closely with regional and country MarComms colleagues for the implementation of the products as per the agreed Marketing and Media plans set
Qualifications University degree, At least one year experience in English to Arabic translation and vice versa and At least 2 years working on digital marketing or online projects.
