Novo Nordisk Egypt (NN Egypt) belongs to International Operations Regional Office Gulf, India and Egypt (IO-BAGIE). Egypt is one of the markets identified through the “Next Eight” project as a future growth market within IO, contributing significantly to the growth aspirations of International Operations region.
We have a challenging opening for the position of Financial Accountant, based in Cairo, Egypt. As a Financial Accountant, you will be a member of the finance, legal, and information technology department (FLIT) and you will report to the Financial Controller.
About the Department
FLIT is the department responsible for the day to day activities of the affiliate, including, financial transactions, financial planning and reporting, management of the company’s cash flow and assets, all IT activities including administration of the company’s IT infrastructure, software and business IT applications, as well as local implementation of all global IT projects, and all legal and business ethics compliance matters.
The Job
You will be responsible for effectively managing NN Egypt purchasing process. You will also be responsible for executing tasks related to the month-end closing. In addition, you will assist in the year-end closing and reporting.
Last but not least you will be responsible for accounts payable management and posting on the SAP system.
Qualifications
A high degree in accounting is required with 1-2 years of finance experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical industry.
