Description Planning - Reviews and processes complex comprehensive plan amendments - Assists with updates and maintenance of Comprehensive Plan - Provides professional planning assistance to the programs teams - Writes and presents formal and technical reports, working papers, and correspondence - Recommends priorities, schedules, and funding sources to implement improvements plan - Develop project monitoring plan (PMP) and work closely with the programs teams - Coordinate with programs teams for collecting data against agreed indicators - Contribute to the preparation of corporate periodic reports and the Annual Performance Report for presentation to the Executive Management & Board meetings. Analysis: - Collect, normalize and analyze data on a daily - often minute-to-minute - basis. - Maintain the data and results in a highly organized and accessible system - Provide analytical support in MEK fundraising reviews or organizational reviews for the Senior Management Team (SMT) and/or Board. - Assure the quality of data and the robustness of the results - Conduct researches and surveys from exploratory analysis and test design, to data analysis and statistical modeling, writing and presenting results.
Qualifications Excellent oral and written communication skills for preparing and presenting planning reports and projects - Ability to manage projects effectively and meet firm deadlines - Ability to attend to details while keeping big-picture goals in mind - Demonstrated analytical skills to initiate and perform complex analyses and organize information to identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships - Ability to analyze and interpret complex data and to translate data conclusions into actionable recommendations and to communicate the conclusions of complex data analysis to non-expert audiences. Qualifications: - University degree in economics, statistics or other related fields. Masters degree is preferable - Minimum of 5 years proven expertise in analysis & research. - Advanced computer skills including advanced excel, access and statistical packages
