Description Managing the transition from the clients acceptance of proposal to project initiation Defining the scope, expectations and implementation approach of the project; then establishing and maintaining stakeholder commitment to this approach. Developing an effective risk mitigation strategy for the project, including time and financial contingencies. Building & motivating the project management team (which may include client, partner and third party staff) by establishing clear & realistic goals for team members, and securing their commitment to individual as well as project goals. Overseeing project execution through the management team. Controlling resource utilization and project expenditure. Managing & controlling the project level contract between the company and the client, and between the company and subcontractors; overseeing the applicable contract change processes as required. Commissioning, and responding to requests for, appropriate levels of project health-check, quality audit and external technical review; ensuring all resulting actions are effectively undertaken. Producing regular and accurate progress reports for the Clients management, the internal management and project sponsor. Escalating issues to the right level of management within the company and the client organization, as appropriate. Delivering and managing all board level communication concerning the project. Seeking opportunities to develop new business with the client, based on a deep understanding of the clients business; identifying and communicating to Sales Management such opportunities.

Qualifications Experience in contracting and large project implementation. This role assumes a high profile in management as well as the clients management, its success being of particular importance to both organizations
