Description Main responsibilities
 1. Develop and implement a market research policy that will enable
 the company to identify sales opportunities.
 2. Carry out research, analyse results and produce reports identifying
 relevant market trends and recommending appropriate policies
 and actions to be implemented by the company.
 3. Monitor research results to ensure that the policies and procedures
 adopted meet the companys requirements.
 4. Support the production, sales and marketing functions, by providing
 them with research results which will assist in decision
 making.
 5. Provide a source of expertise to managers and staff in carrying out
 market research.
 6. Maintain an awareness of developments in the field of market
 research to ensure that the company continues to apply the most
 effective policies and approaches.
 Knowledge, skills and experience required

Qualifications The job requires: education to degree level or equivalent; at least 5 years experience in a marketing role; knowledge and experience of carrying out research and analysing results; numeracy and IT skills; thorough knowledge of the company and its products; excellent interpersonal skills; excellent presentation skills.
