Description � Be aware of all machine controls, how they operate. All safety devices and their purpose. The lock-out/tag-out procedure and all lock-out/tag-out points on the machine.
� Review job packet at beginning of each shift to ensure all documentation is current, and part(s) being ran match print(s) in packet.
� Perform hourly quality checks, including measurement of all dimensions called out on the inspection form as well as thorough visual inspection for forming defects, including holes, webs, cold spots, trimming errors, split seams, etc.
� Provide an accurate and complete "hand off� to the incoming operator at shift change. This would include (but not limited to) any part quality, machine mechanical issues or any deviations created during your shift.
� Able to communicate effectively with engineers, process techs and quality techs.
- Keep area cleaned and organized. Not only keeping work area swept, but keeping hardware from ending up on the floor and in the trash.
Qualifications - 2-3 years industrial experience as a technician. - Don Bosco graduates is much preferred. - Be able to set up machine, including mold change, clamp frame setting, lock setting, platen stop setting, lift table and sheet stop setting in the allotted time. - Be able to troubleshoot the process and make the necessary adjustments to ovens, TCUs and timers in order to produce parts to specification. -Proper use of PPE
