Description 1.1. Lead the implementation of the employability programme activities under ASDP that includes the development, growth and operations of the CEC, maintaining training relevance within the regions evolving economic/employment environment; and overall sustainability.
 2. Manage the daily operations of the centre and the performance of the operational staff and administrators.
 3. Create and implement strategic/collaborative partnerships with reputable national/international educational institutions related to funding, strategic and policy guidance and advocacy.
 4. Liaise with businesses, universities, local government, donors, and CSOs to establish mutually beneficial partnerships to launch high quality relevant courses and maximize the effectiveness of complementary or otherwise strategically linked initiatives and goals.
 5. Work with the Quality and Accreditation Manager to develop and consistently deliver high-quality programmes, leading to improved employment or employability.
 6. Initiate and maintain recruiting relationships with employers for job and internships opportunities.
 7. Support marketing and communication efforts to promote continuing education programmes to the community.
 8. Adhere to educational and donor compliance guidelines.
 9. Oversee financial and other administrative operations and controls, and continuously improve effectiveness and efficiency.
 10. Lead employment fairs and career days including building the capacity of the local stakeholders.
 11. Identify sectorial employment opportunities and professional development programme to enhance the skills of the youth in Aswan.
 12. Work with vendors and consultants related to the employability programme component.
 13. Work with the Entrepreneurship Manager to promote self-employment options for the youth in Aswan.
 14. Lead the resource mobilization to strengthen, extend and expand the offerings and scope of the CEC and the broader Continuing Education Programme (CEP).


Qualifications 1. A post-graduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent working experience in an educational environment. Experience in managing and administrating continuing education and adult learning center. 2. Experience in business development with proven excellent skills. 3. Excellent understanding of quality management and quality control systems in a services context/environment. 4. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 5. Strong commercial acumen. 6. Ability to build trust, motivate others, and work under pressure with multiple tasks, and demands. Meet deadlines with a positive and constructive attitude. 7. Having leadership qualities with proven experience in planning and evaluating, programme development, project management, and curriculum development.
