Description Work with the Product Line Manager (PLM) and Product Team members to execute product life-cycle management strategy
Work with the PLM to contribute to the development of both long and short term business strategies to maximize profitability and achieve growth
Champion new product development and timely release through collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Market Development, Technology and Manufacturing Operations
Understand the competitive environment and devise plans to differentiate and counteract
Interpret market demand and provide forecast input for capacity planning
Provide technical support to develop product literature and promotional brochures
Support key day-to-day activities for various markets
Formulate value propositions with commercial team to position against the competition
Influence supply-chain and procurement to deliver best cost and service
Provide product training and support to the Customer Representative (CSR) organization
Assist in resolving product, quality, and service issues while balancing customer needs
Identify opportunities to reduce complexity and costs
Collect and distribute specialized reports and key product line metrics for analysis
Qualifications Ability to work with other functional groups and deliver results across functional teams Demonstrate entrepreneurship with ability to formulate visions/strategies and predict trends Ability to plan, manage, execute multiple priorities and perform under pressure Possess strong analytical skills coupled with understanding of financial statements Possess strong work ethic and attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Demonstrates pro-activeness and delivers results consistently in a timely manner Fluent command of the English language and possesses excellent presentation skills Able to compose and communicate both in written and verbal formats Education: Bachelors Degree (required) Required Years and Area of Experience: 2 to 5+ years of experience in product line management, manufacturing or commercial/marketing
